TT+ DTF Whinge
Media Watch exposes some crimes from Today Tonight, can we get this show renamed to 30-Minute-Hate or something?
Apparently TT is described as "Naomi Robson reports on the latest news and current affairs."
This is misleading. "Naomi Robson sits and announces reports that have been hacked up, rehashed and edited out of context to fit into a shock-jock agenda"
The Press Council needs teeth, nay fangs, to contain the rampant media. I would like a temporary suspension of license to any radio station, television station or newspaper that incites racial hatred and violence, mainly when it is claimed to be news, if it is entirely spurious. TT shows a clip inciting hatred, Channel 7 becomes snow for a week.
In fact, the Herald Sun should have been suspended for it's claims against the Greens before last election.

... so? And then what? Remove their ability to profit, slaps on the wrist don't appear to be working.
On lighter matters, has anyone seen Double The Fist?

Snow for a Week. How cool that would be.
Robinson is the worst offender of the lot. How she can sit there and front that tripe with a clear conscience is beyond me. Presumably they have her on a course of anti aging drugs that, should she stop taking them, she would become a withered husk before our eyes. Thus they can say 'git out there, and front that story about the fatties chasing sluggo in Majorca or you begin to age once more lady.' And she does, cause she's like scared and stuff.
I came up with a good one for the tele and the hun and those other lamos. If they get a story wrong, and presumably the victim wants redress of grievance and not the cash they dosh out (if any). Then the paper has to print the retraction in the exact same location, in the exact same size, and with the header = to the header size used to get it wrong.
Like those poor Mt Druitt b@stards that got the 'class we failed' full page header cause none of them intended to go to uni, did vocational non TER related courses, and as a result none of them cracked above a 50.
Either that, or the Sunday edition gets shoved up the editor's @rse. I'm good with either one.
