Taxing fools

We want lower taxes!

You got it!

Yay! Now we want more money spent on education!

OK, we'll just take the money out of health!

No, we want more health spending!

OK, we will not give you such a large tax break.

No we want all three!

OK, we will take the money from welfare.

Yay! No wait, I'm a window with 3 children.
And I hurt myself at work.
And I have a mental illness and pose a threat to the general public!

... you realise we get money from taxes?

Yes.

So a reduction in taxes...

... YAY!! ...

... yeah, a reduction will mean less money spent on you?

No, you don't seem to understand, we want to give you less money to spend,
and for you to spend more money. I think it's pretty simple.

...

OK?

You do see the problem with that argument?

We have taken a vote, and unanimously decided it is best if we remain ignorant of the flaws in our position.

Fine, hidden taxes it is.

Hooray!!!!

Maybe we should add another to the 'always be death and taxes' line.

There will always be stupid people with access to voting technology.

Pure gold man. If I had a cyber pool room, this would be in it.
