It's raining rain

It's raining in Melbourne, and it's eerie.

Perhaps the whole situation is imagined, is it just me, or is rain such a rare sight nowadays it promotes a slight sense of awe? It becomes the topic of the day at the watercooler.

"I hear a nuclear weapon has exp...."
"... yeah yeah, shut up, it's raining!"
"But the atomi.. really? Let me see. Wow, I left the washing out. Still, it's good for the farmers."
"Oh yeah, the farmers, yeah."
"Farmers will be liking this rain, yeah."
"Very much so, those farmers sure will, yeah. Still.. It's gonna miss the friggin' catchments again."

We do seem to be in some sort of a drought, and this is interesting, rainfall almost seems to be affected a bit by population density.

Now it's not the farmers fault they're dumb, it's hard to get good teachers out back, they spend too much time in the sun, and in Monstanto "educational" seminars, and think John Howard is a National Party member.

See? I didn't even have to refer to the fact they are all in-bred sheep rooters.

NFF: Howard didn't give us enough in environmental funding! Howard's IR scheme might actually be screwing us!
