THE FOLLOWING IS SATIRE!
63 years on, an Australia target in Darwin has once again been damaged by bombings.
A jet-plane damaged an Australian Defense Force building at the vast Delamere Air Weapons Range south of Darwin on Thursday, thankfully no one was injured, and the bomb exploded near the building.
"Emergency procedures were activated..." the department said.
But who would do such a thing?
Apparently it was done by a US Marine Corps F/A 18 Hornet, and was part of an exercise. An investigation will be conducted.
All a part of making the world safer I guess.
Actually, hang on a second.
On Wednesday, "Boeing workers have been effectively suspended since May over their demands for a union-negotiated collective agreement... Boeing wants the workers, who repair and maintain the RAAF's F/A-18 Hornet jet fighters, on Australian Workplace Agreements (AWAs)."
On the next day (Thursday), "The Australian Defence Force (ADF) and US Marine Corps (USMC) are investigating the incident in which the unidentified weapon was fired from an F/A-18 Hornet on Wednesday night... some damage to range facilities"
Is this part of the governments IR advertising campaign?!
