in Norway they give you a whole day to do your exam. You get to take meals and stuff in.

Norway = socialist paradise. Though that's qualified with a very high suicide rate.

Mikey_ I ranted about Norway's superior system only days ago, but failed to mention S.A.D (seasonally affective disorder).
Norwegians always look for the simplest solution. I guess the suicide rate is the downside.
Larry, your electrodes Idea wouldn't work for 90% of the population as they don't have brain; in Australia anybody who votes Liberal, National, ALP, Family First etc.
Finland is also a Socilaist paradise, but strangey unlike Sweden or Norway doesn't have a high sucide rate. Could it be a genetic thing; Swedes and Norwegians are Germanic peoples, while the Finns are a Finno-Urgic people? Then again Hungary used to have a high suicide rate and they are also a Finno-Urgic people.
Oh, and Larry, as for exams blowing goats, I'll have to take your word on that one...
Finns are too busy not speaking to kill themselves.

As for high suicide rates in Norway & Co... it's the cold weather! I would want to kill myself too! I was going to bet that the Finns just get drunk all the time and are too inebriated to kill themselves, but apparently it's not true, and they have the 2nd lowest rate of alcohol consumption in the EU. Damn. Somewhat perversely, they allegedly have the highest number of deaths by alcohol poisoning in the Western world... go figure.
Oh and I just found out Finland fudged their figures on per capita alcohol consumption because it didn't take into account home brewing and cross-border alcohol purchases. So they ARE too drunk to commit suicide over the cold weather. I knew it!
