A Nasty Habit

Most people start when they're young. They start socially, just for fun.

As we become adults, most of us find ourselves doing it less.

Others continue, or even start later in life.

Some find themselves doing it more and more often, even in the mornings, some whilst on the way to work, perhaps even in their lunchbreaks.

It can be a pleasant escape, a release.

Good for the heart, they say.

But some even begin to do it alone.

This vice becomes most dangerous when it is mixed with the roads, with cars. Far too many lives are lost because of a dangerous concoction of cars, roads, and this particular subject I am referring to.

...

But you can help - pledge money now to help Cyclists kick their habit - together we can find a cure.

Bloody oath it becomes dangerous when mixed with cars! Whether it's breathing in exhaust fumes or having someone pulling into the bike lane in front of you, or failing to halt their 4WD in time at a red light because they're talking on their mobile phone, it's a bloody dangerous habit!
